The TT Web Site Manager breaks the web site down into 4 main types of entity. Sites, Pages, Items and Item containers. We are briefly considering each in turn to further illustrate the TT Web Site Manager system. This page considers the Item container.

The TT Web Site Manager allows a comprehensive library of code items to be built up and used across a variety of pages and sites. To avoid a very large and incomprehensible list of code items being created, some means of managing then is called for. The solution is to store all the code items in item containers. Typicaly separate item containers might be created for items of different types, or perhaps for items used in different parts of the site.

Other than storage of items the item container has no other functionality, so the only manageable attribute of an item container is its name.
