The TT Web Site Manager tutorials
To help demonstrate how the different parts of the TT Web Site Manager operate with each other, here are a set of tutorials, each designed to show a different part of the TT Web Site Manager's functionality. Each one includes quite a few full size screenshots, so these are graphic intensive pages. The screenshots were all taken on a rather aged laptop computer with an 800x600 screen, so some of the wider ones may have slight cropping at the edges. (1) A simple TT Web Site Manager tutorial: creating a static HTML page This tutorial describes the process of creating a simple HTML page using the TT Web Site Manager. While it is extreme overkill to use a database driven web site manager to create a simple page that would take 30 seconds to create in a text editor, this tutorial should provide an introduction to the TT Web Site Manager interface, as well as the concepts within the TT Web Site Manager. Later tutorials will deal with the TT Web Site Manager's more advanced database features.
Creating a site and giving yourself the rights to use it. (2) Another simple TT Web Site Manager tutorial: simple PHP items This tutorial takes the page created in the previous tutorial and adds some server side PHP code to count between two bounds set by PHP variables. A quick demonstration of PHP items (3) Simple database interfaces and TT Web Site Manager conditionals This tutorial covers creating a database table, listing its contents and adding content to it. The TT Web Site Manager's conditional items are also examined.
